Comments: In October and December of 2006 I was given two injections of the drug Lupron. I received the injections to reduce the football size Fibroid I had. After My second injection of Lupron 7.5 mg on December 7, 2006 I became severely ill and was admitted to the hospital to have a blood transfusion because I had loss so much blood. I also had severe chest pain, body pain, blurred vision, headaches, insomnia, numbness, nausea, vomiting, and weakness on my left side. Thankfully I got better and had the surgery to remove the fibroid. My recovery from Lupron was gradual and I thought that I had put the adverse reaction to the Lupron injections behind me, but I was sadly mistaken. I would notice from time to time the symptoms would come and go, the same symptoms I initially had after my adverse reaction to the Lupron shot. In 2009 the symptoms that would periodically come and go came back with a vengeance and stayed. I am currently suffering from uncontrollable high blood pressure, blurred vision, weakness and pain in my chest, memory loss, pain throughout my entire body, shocks throughout my body that causes an episode where I lose control of my arms and hands, severe neck and back pain to the point I have trouble holding my head up, standing and walking, excessive weight gain, fluid retention, depression, anxiety, headaches, insomnia, and a constant cough. I had to stop working in March of 2010 because I could no longer do the basic day to day tasks let alone work. I spent 2009, 2010, 2011 going to doctors. From internal medicine, gynecologist, neurologist, Hospital emergency rooms, family practices, having EKG done, sleep studies, incomplete MRI( because I would have an attack while lying in the machine for too long)chest x-rays, cervical biopsy, ultra sounds, and blood test you name it I've had it. I know that this drug is dangerous and if something is not done immediately to take this drug off the market we are going to see more and more people suffer and die from using this FDA approved drug. I don’t understand why no one is listening to the thousands and thousands of people who are out right telling our leaders that this drug is dangerous because they are suffering with these severe side effects. Not only are we saying that this drug is deadly but there is overwhelming proof to back this up (take a look at my medical records). I want to live and not die and it is long overdue that something be done to take this poison off the market and help those who are suffering. If the government continue to allow this drug to remain on the FDA approve list then they might as well legalize crack too, because for me crack and Lupron has the same effect.

Comments: I received Lupron in 2005 for treatment for my endometriosis. The OB/GYN did not discussed with me the side effects and I did not search about the medication prior the treatment. The very first day of the medication administration, I started having bad side effects includes muscle and joint pains. The side effects tends to get less and less over the years but never went away. This year, 2011, those musculoskeletal aches and pains are back and even worse.
