Name: Michelle Grabski on Jul 28, 2004State: OHCountry: USComments: I don't think there has been enough research on the side effect of Lupron for use on women. This drug has been used primarily for the treatment of men and prostate cancer, and I think that further research needs to be done on the side effects of both genders before it is prescribed. I have suffered side effects from what I felt was Lupron, but there is no solid proof that Lupron was the cause.Flag

Name: Robyn Myers on Jul 28, 2004State: CACountry: USComments: I took monthly Lupron injections for Endometriosis and Fibroid tumors following 4 years of Fertility Treatments (Ovarian stimulation for IUI/IVF)-- and experienced severe joint pain in all my paired joints after the second injection. When these symptoms did not subside I stopped Lupron after 5 of the 6 planned treatments. My Dr fully expected the joint pain to subside after stopping treatment. Three years later I still suffer from severe joint pain (now diagnosed as osteoarthritis) in ALL my paired joints making me disabled as it directly limits many basic life functions. I am under treatment of a rheumatologist and chronic pain clinic to manage the symptoms to reduce pain, and slow joint degeneration.Flag

Name: Kathrine Sandle on Jul 29, 2004State: PACountry: USComments: I saw my dauhgters life nearly destroyed from the side effects of LUPRON. I truley believe that she would not be alive to day if it were not for a T.V. news show I happen to see. There were a panel of women begging for the truth to be made public about this heinous drug. I called my daughter to watch it and we called her DR. the next day. What a snow job, he insisted there were NO side effects. Aginest his advice she went off the drug and was back to her self in a few weeks.Flag
