At DePaul, there is something called a junior year experiential learning requirement. I am taking a class for it and it forces me to do 25 hours of service learning/community service outside of class. I believe that this is unfair and puts an undue burden on the student. They are already busy enough. It is not fair to force a full-time student to do this. They may also have a full time job and this really puts a time constraint on them. I believe that DePaul should take off the 25 hour requirement or at least reduce it significantly. Any signatures would really be appreciated.
