Name: Rhonda Carrell on Oct 13, 2012Comments: Please STOP this. No amount of regulation is going to preserve our water & air...or our quality of life. This could potentially ruin my lifelong business. We have given you proof! What more could you ask for. READ the Karris/Wade report. Armenia has already become the victim of this operation. YOU have proof.Flag

Name: Sally Spletter on Oct 13, 2012Comments: CAFO farms do not belong in areas that need constant irrigation such as the central sands area. They also do not belong in sandy soil where the contamination can leach very quickly to our water supply. I would hope that those individuals that are able to stop this, would be responsible and save our environment rather than stand by and bow to the interest of a few wealthy individuals looking to further line their pockets with no consequences in the high risk to human health. Please deny these permits.Flag

Name: William J Gorton on Oct 14, 2012Comments: 298 Fox Ridge trail, Tn Rome. our deep well (8") level & quality has been degraded over the past 5 years by increased HCW's & agricultural irrigation. This CAFO will affect our water quality & quantity, leading to loss of value & economic stability in this area. We most strongly ask this Cafo permit be denied on the facts, and that it is detrimental to all of the population within the affected zone. The monetary benefit for a handfull of corporate "farmers" should not outweigh the rights of thousands of residents to maintain their existing property values & water quality .Flag
