The right of people to peacefully demonstrate/protest in the UK should be supported by everyone. However,intended peaceful demonstrations/protests are frequently hijacked/infiltrated by individuals intent on stirring up violence and committing other crimes. Individuals intending to take part in peaceful demonstrations/protests should have no fear of being identified and should not be allowed to wear facial coverings which pevent their positive identification. In general those causing violence and acts of damage at demonstrations/protests which were intended to be peaceful have their identities concealed by facial coverings in an obvious attempt to prevent identification. This should be stopped. It should be made illegal to wear anything which conceals the face of an individual taking part in demonstrations/protests in public areas in the UK.
