The international community is very much aware that President Muhammad Hosni Sayyid Mubarak and his Party the National Democratic Party is violating the basic human rights of its citizens and since January 26 2011 has been prohibiting the use of internet access, media coverage and freedom of speech. In recognition of this fact, the international community have refused to recognize Mubarak government as democratic and demand to reestablish internet and media services to its citizens.. As members of the international community, we do not intend to allow this blatant act of disregard for the rule of law and for the will of the people of Egypt to go unchallenged. The list of evidence of election irregularities in the past compiled in this petition contains widely known facts and has been corroborated by various news sources. Taken as a whole, this evidence is more than enough to declare that the aspirations for a future presidency of Gamal Mubarak are illegitimate and violate the basic right of suffrage that is stated in the Egyptian Constitution. In light of the aforementioned evidence, we, the undersigned, condemn Hosny Mubarak and his parliamentary cabinet of depriving from the basic rights to its citizens according to the Egyptian Constitution Article 41, 42, 45, 47 and 48. We recognize Hosny Mubarak actions as a declaration of war on the opposition and hold him responsible for the bloodshed that has proceeded in these days after his aspirations to impose his son Gamal Mubarak as his predecessor in the presidency. We do not condone violence and urge all parties to avoid violence. Instead we urge for peaceful protests and negotiations and non-violent protests. Nonetheless, we demand that Hosny Mubarak abdicate the office of the President of Egypt immediately and convoke the country to a democratic election with the presence f international organizations which supervise the event, in order that a new president be install into that office immediately. In the interest of peace, we respectfully request your assistance in ensuring that this affront to democracy is repudiated and nullified.
