We, the undersigned, demand a recount in the race to be Time Person of the Year 2014 and that John Oliver be officially declared the winner.

We do not care that the winner was picked by Time at their discretion.

We do not care that the public vote doesn't dictate who wins and that in any event John Oliver seemingly only garnered 1.6%.

We do not care that thousands of people risking life and limb to tackle a horrendous disease will be displaced as the winner. Isn't a good deed its own reward?

We demand justice. Or what we deem to be justice. Which is the same.

This is like the World Cup 2022 decision all over again. Time is the new Fifa (Fifa is now the new Enron).
