Veolia Transportation took over Long Island Bus formelly operated by Metropolitan Transportation on January 1st, 2012, under new name Nassau Inter County Express Service. After service implention on April 8th, 2012, some NICE Bus riders are not having nice experience. N21 which used to run between Flushing and Glen Clove via Shore Rd-Glenwood Rd, but right now is peak service only. This has many passengers affected and extreme delay in N20 and N20 Limited service. Timed transfer to N27 Glen Clove at Glen Clove Rd does not work out very well due to heavey boarding in Queens and drop off in Great Neck. Some of N21 riders are forced to J-cross dangerous street of Northern Blvd/Glen Clove Rd in order to make to this N27 bus. N23 and N27 bus need to restore to pre April 8th service. With changes off, N27 terminated at Roslyn Station, ridership is decreasing. Restore N27 bus back to Roosevelt Field Mall and Hempstead, while I suggest N23 to extend from Mineola Station to Roosevelt Field Mall via Old Country Rd instead. This way Manorhavern folks have direct access to shopping mall. I also suggest to restore N78/N79 bus back to Roosevelt Field Mall. N78/N79 which used to operate between Walt Whitman Mall/NC Plainview Complex and Mineola, but now only to/from Hicksville, forcing rider to cost extra minute on N24 bus. Also, N2/N8 loops are good idea, but Franklin Av passengers have lost direct bus service. I suggest after N2/N8 returns to Dutch Broadway, I suggest N2/N8 travel north on Franklin Av to Tulip Av, then return to Convernt Av, so Franklin Av riders will not be affected.
