In recent joint House and Senate Committee On Veterans Affairs hearings, VA Undersecretary Allison Hickey was asked to submit to the Committee members internal monthly reports on which she was very evasive in her response. Which has disturbed some of us living Veterans due to her law breaking attitude, Undersecretary Hickey violated a law, called misprison of felony. At a time when Veterans suicides have reached (22) a day, we have VA officials lying to Congressional Committees without fear of going to prison. Both of these two VA officials Allison Hickey and Diana Rubens should be indicted for violation of "18 U.SC. § 4," MISPRISON OF FELONY. The Washington Examiner has been keeping up and writing stories related to the joint House and Senate Committees On Veterans Affairs hearings. Which VA officials such as Undersecretary Allison Hickey and Deputy Undersecretary For Field operations Diana Rubens testified. In the Washington Examiner's story published on March 13, 2013 and March 20, 2013, both VA officials Allison Hickey and Diana Rubens were evasive enough it frighten any Veteran. In the Washington Examiner story published on February 26, 2013, Committee Chairman Jeff Miller and the committee's ranking member Michael Machaud stated that employees that are consistently making errors, should be fired and disciplined. Both Congressmen Miller and Michaud agreed that the practice of transferring VA employees that committed errors in VA claims, must be stopped. It should terrify Veterans and citizens that VA officials consistently lie to and evade congressional investigators with impunity. It should terrify Veterans and citizens that Congress does not discipline VA officials. Of late if military commanders deceived and evaded Congress they were impeached and removed from office. Why are VA officials allowed to escape the punishment that Congress inflicts upon military commanders and Congress persons. Many Veterans know that VA officials have been evasive and deceived Congress for the simple reason that VA does not adhere to existing law. Covering up such practices as the VA purposely putting certain types of VA case files/evidence in the "lost rooms/dead rooms." A systemic VA violation of law that was discovered by the VA Office Of Inspector General. The purpose of this petition is to request that not only both Allison Hickey and Diana Rubens, but all evasive and deceitful VA OFFICIALS be indicted, investigated and prosecuted for misprison of felony, under 38 U.S.C. § 4 for all evasive and deceitful answers to all official investigators. Veterans and citizens now demand that Congress initiate an investigation into all (57) VA Regional Offices across the nation to stop this criminal practice in the adjudication process of Veterans claims for benefits at the VA, and bring misprison of felony charges against those criminals. Veterans that have been victimized should be allowed to testify before all Congressional committees, it is wrong that VA officials are constantly being allowed to testify before Congress in such a evasive manner, while Veterans are being criminally abused by VA employees, who tamper with federal documents, falsify the VA database without prosecution. Yet VA officials are evasively testifying before Congressional Committees for the purposes of covering up criminal acts. All Veterans of America are requesting that joint committee hearings be called by both the House and Senate Committees On Veterans Affairs, House and Senate Committees On The Judiciary's, and the House and Senate Committees On Oversight And Government Reform to deal with the criminal element at the VA, which has and will continue to be a part of the backlog issue at the VA. It is time to put an end to this backlog once and for all. No more "Delay, Deny and hope that Veterans Die." Veterans request that both Allison Hickey and Diana Rubens be indicted, investigated and prosecuted for misprison of felony, under 18 U.S.C. § 4, for lying to Congress. Veterans are requesting that Congress investigates all VA Regional Offices in the nation for lost rooms/dead rooms because it is a crime to tamper with federal documents, under 18 U.S.C. § 2071. Veterans have a DUE PROCESS RIGHT to be heard, so Veterans request that they allowed to personally testify at hearing before all Congress and Senate Committee hearings pertaining to Veterans and the U.S. Department Of Veterans Affairs.
