We, the undersigned Pilots of Delta Air Lines, hereby present the following petition as a clear and transparent response to a request for input and direction by our bargaining agent:

We, the unified Pilots of Delta Air Lines, have sacrificed for more than a decade our pay, scope, work rules, sick leave, retirement, health benefits, and in many cases, years on furlough and lost advancement, in order to preserve and enhance Delta Air Lines as a successful company. Our company now ranks among the world's finest and most profitable. We require that our next contract include, on date of signing, as a minimum, full restoration to 2004 pay rates plus some cost of living adjustment, improvement to scope language to include penalties for non-compliance, improvement to work rules to include a minimum calendar day pay of 5+15 and pay from door closure to door opening, enhancements to sick leave provisions including the elimination of sick leave verification, productivity counseling and any other form of company harassment over sick leave use, improvement to retirement contributions and improvement to health benefits including retiree medical benefits while reducing the cost to the Pilot. These improvements must be made without any reduction in Profit Sharing or any further concessions to any work rules, sick leave, benefits or scope. Any Tentative Agreement that fails to meet these requirements will result in a rejection of the agreement through the member ratification process.
