Ann Arbor, MI 48103 | US | I have known Dr. Wilkerson for over 15 years. I know her to be a person of integrity and commitment. The charges leveled against her are absurd and smack of vindictive prosecution. |

The Hippocratic oath reads: "First, do no harm,"
Dr. Wilkerson was exercising her duty to prevent the police and emergency medical personnel from inflicting harm." |

Ypsilanti, MI 48197 | | I attended the event at which Dr. Wilkerson was arrested. The event organizers and the University of Michigan police were blatantly trying to provoke an incident. Dr. Wilkerson was arrested for doing her duty as a physician, assisting an injured person. |

| 19 | Joni LeViness | Tulsa, OK | US | We will not be Silent, nor will we complacently comply with a police state mentality.
There are Patriots waking up by the thousands and we Will have our country back from the imperialist coupe that has ursurped our govt.
The only true opposition to this occupation is the people within both parties and outside of the parties who see what we've come to and are not going to pacifly stand by.
Say No to the Bush Regime.
Say No to the Police State mentality that follows the policies of our corrupt govt.
We support Dr. Wilkerson and others like her.
It is Time for a Nonviolent Revolution and so we Begin!
Peace and Direct Action,

| 24 | Andre Wilson | Ann Arbor, Michigan | US | As an alum of the University of Michigan, and as a current graduate student in the UM School of Social Work, I urge that UM insist that all charges against Dr. Wilkerson be dropped, and an apology issued. It is troubling to imagine that the UM may be engaging in retaliatory prosecution. But without these specious charges, I --and others around the world-- might never have read the profoundly disturbing account of the excessive and punitive use of force by UM Campus Police against attendees of a campus lecture. Precious few bystanders are willing to step in to help others in crisis: Dr. Wilkerson's repeated efforts to prevent injury to others, even risking harm to herself, deserve our admiration and praise. |

| 27 | Anne Gardner Remley | Ann Arbor, Michigan | US | I support Dr. Wilkerson's right and duty to act to give medical support to a man who she observed to be in dire medical straits. I urge you to drop the charges. |

The circumstances in this case required them to question their training and inform their supervisor of the at-the-scene information given by a person saying she was a knowlegeable physician. The police also must use their best reasonable judgement that the person representing herself as a physicain was reputable.
Because the advice she gave and the authority in which she gave it it was reasonable to assume she was indeed a physician and her advice under emergency circumstances needed to be heeded. Her advice was not injurious as a reasonable person could discern. |

| 43 | Barbara Hutt Clarke | Ann Arbor, MI | US | It is time to do the "right thing" and free the doctor of the charges. |
| 44 | Catherine Glorie | Ann Arbor, MI | US | Dr. Wilkerson should not have been arrested in the first place. If prosecution proceeds both the University and the County will be embarrassed by their persistence that seems absurd and arrogant in equal measure. In a situation like this it is always wise to err on the side of tollerance. |
