SFC Joseph Mayo has been unjustly incarcerated for a mistake he made on the battlefield during his 3rd combat deployment. He is serving a sentence of 20 years. SFC Mayo dedicated 10 years to the US Army and proudly served his country. Due to his actions in Iraq he is a Purple Heart recipient, but also suffers from PTSD and MTBI.
