    Comments: I massively enjoyed my time studying Politics & IR, and would be sorely disappointed to see it discarded by UWE. The course was (for me) a quintessential university course that helped develop as a human, and set me on a course for further self-development. It encouraged me to meet many people (like-minded or otherwise) who I enjoyed speaking to, and still keep in touch with. The staff are almost all fantastic and really do make the subject material hugely interesting. I accept the realities of running such a large university, but institutions like these are supposed to be about long-term human development as well as training for employment. Chasing the fast buck will, to my mind, be disastrous for UWE in the long term; prospective students will care more about how the uni views them and their courses, and less about the running of the institution itself.
