Comments: Cutting the humanities is a despicable act, narrowing the horizons of students who wish to apply to UWE and those who have graduated. Uniting to resist the encroachment of bureaucrats where they have no place is extremely important

Comments: Evidently, the students have not be consulted on this issue as there is a high level of resistance on this decision.

Comments: "Oh, man, what should we cut?" "Politics?" "Yeah! Politics! I mean, what good does it do?" It's fine, UWE, we'll be ignorant of our governance if we must. No, really. We don't need to know the system at all. I'm sure they can keep running it in our best interes-pfffhahahaha!

Comments: It's a disgrace to see sites of knowledge production that encourage and cultivate critical engagement with wider society being cut back like this. In full solidarity with UWE Politics and International Relations and UWESU!

Comments: In my view, as a teacher of Journalism, efforts should be being made to organise greater integration of (such) subjects, so that we are turning out more 'rounded' students. We have already lost languages, now it looks like politics and international relations too. So much for the impact of globalisation! Will we end up just producing compliant 'little Englanders'.
