In the United States, an individual's right to speak freely is a fundamental principle that our country was founded upon, and that principle is known as the "freedom of speech."

Freedom of speech is protected under our nation's First Amendment to the United States Constitution. This amendment [prohibits any making of a law] that abridges one's right to speak freely.

And so, this petition was created to urge owners and administrators of social networking/media websites to refrain from either authorizing, endorsing, inventing, advocating or collaborating with third parties [apart from law enforcement] a means that deters, postpones, quells, disrupts, restricts or immobilizes a user's right to engage in lawful online dialogue; or a user's right to freedom of expression so long as that individual has not violated what might be reasonably construed as a violation of the law.

Particularly, this petition would affect instances wherein website owners and administrators may be employing the term [spam] as a vehicle to unlawfully flag, deter, postpone, quell, restrict and/or immobilize user accounts when user postings, or their expressions does not assent with the opinions of others, or causes a difference in opinions; or wherein conflict arises as a result of what the user has posted within their lawful rights, or First Amendment right. Likewise, as a means to quell one's liberties to freely communicate with other consenting members, owners and administrators may also be inclined to use master administrative privileges to freeze internet traffic [aka: hold the line] to a single user's account, and this would seem to be a gross violation of internet law, especially when one user is treated differently from another based on that person's opinions, endeavors or ideology that's within the legal boundaries of America's statutory law.

Lastly, this petition would apply to user postings that are provided inside main forums, group formations, messaging systems, commentary sections, across personal update algorithms and other areas wherein users are granted exclusive permission to post written and digital content.
