We, the undersigned, oppose the construction of the proposed Walmart Super Center at the aforementioned address as detrimental to the community through predatory pricing practices resulting in the loss of small local businesses. Furthermore, its policies relating to employee and labor relations together with a wage 20% lower than retail standards negate the minor increase in hiring and disrupts the stable workforce provided by small enterprise. Additional problems arising from traffic congestion and increased crime serve lower property value and disrupts the livelihoods of residents and business owners within the surrounding area.
