Name: Michael Crow on Feb 1, 2007Comments: I love the look and feel of Outlook 2007 but the performance is lackluster and the removal/failure of Microsoft to develop a proper HTML engine that end users can choose to use themselves should the need or desire arises is unacceptable. My funny animations dont work anymore either.Flag

Name: Steffi Rausch on Feb 1, 2007Comments: Please allow HTML backgrounds to work and for CSS float, border, and padding to work! And improve the ability for tables to render colspans & rowspans. This is what most email newsletters use and need for all our thousands of client's newsletters to work. You have hit us hard and with what I assume will be angry clients when we say that we can't support Outlook 2007 until you update.Flag

Name: Robert Wilkins on Feb 1, 2007Comments: I've been using microsoft products for years and I've always been impressed with the forward progression of your software. I can't belive that Outlook 2007 offers such a limited and stifling rendering of html. Obviously, RSS and future technologies will someday replace html-based emails, but it's still a large chunk of how enewsletters and developed. I'm hoping that your programmers will re-think O-2007 and come up with a better, more advanced update.Flag

Shame as I had heard it was shaping up to be a great product.Flag

Name: Jim Kelley on Feb 6, 2007Comments: I design email. The inability to display background images challenges those templates that are designed to expand and collapse with change in content, and keep it's visual prominence. The inablity to display alt tags is a knock for those with disabilities. There are laws in the UK for this.Flag

(most notably the marquee command) Not happy. For a moment there, I thought I was purchasing an upgrade not a downgrade..... Guess I'll try for a refund and go back to 2003.Flag

Name: Phil Williams on Feb 13, 2007Comments: Here at Christian Aid (a UK overseas development charity), we have over 100,000 people who have ASKED to receive information about our online campaigning against the causes of poverty. This will affect our ability to communicate effectively with our suppoorters and make the money we just spent on designing our new html email templates a waste of money. Please go back to how it was.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 14, 2007Comments: This is yet one more example of how Office 2007 fails when it comes to accessibility. Without ALT tags, along with other standard HTML design elements, users with vision problems who rely on ALT tags are completely ignored.Flag
