I live in Europe, where death penalty has been abolished and I am friend of America. I know your country well and I understand the sensitivity of this topic. Nevertheless the USA eventually will have to join the community of civilized countries who oppose this barbaric punishment. By abolishing death penalty, the USA will no longer be compared to Iran and China (and some others) who mercilessly murder human beings.
Mr. President-elect, we have supported you during your campaign, we have placed great hopes in you, in the symbol you represent, a symbol of justice, respect, and righteousness. Please show us that we were right.
