We live in the City of Milpitas, CA in a Condo Development and are about 1/5 mile away from the Railway Tracks. We have lived here since December 2014. At first, the noise level from the Train Whistle was tolerable but lately, since the last 2 months, the noise level, particularly in the wee hours of the morning and at night time , has become excessively loud and unnerving ( not to mention deafening) The noise gives us such a jolt especially in the early morning hours. When we bought the property on Abel Street ( parallel to the Railway tracks) we did not think that the noise level of the Trains would escalate to this level. Now, we have reached a stage of dread when we hear the trains approaching this residential area. I know that other Residents in this condo also share our concerns.
