Delano Citizens Against Expansion of Gambling

The petition

We understand the pitfalls of illegal and legalized gambling for our citizens, especially the poor. Delano finally made a stand against it in 1998 by eliminating much of it in "China Town". Now they're back! They're asking our elected officials to change our ordinances so they can expand gambling in our City. Let's move Delano forward NOT backwards! Let's create an environment where our citizens can succeed not fail! Let's send a clear message to our city council and the casino owners that this would be a setback for Delano!
