The more open minded people go there, so why sensor What is the harm of a comic play, and how far do you want to sensor. Can I make fun of somebodies nose in the audience Comedy is too ridicule things a little bit, otherwise its no commedy!!

Comments: No Screaming or Jumping eh If thats the case, we should ban all traditional Dances as well like Silat, Kung Fu and orang Asli performances. Theres a lot of screaming and jumping too. DBKL has again shown their hypocritical side with this issue, and is a disgrace not just to the Malaysian art society, but a disgrace to everyone in Malaysia.

Comments: Common DBKL, we are all mature Malaysians here... we already don't like foreigners criticising our country, you can't take criticisms (even as a harmless satire) from your own people too We are definitely in a 1st Country with a 3rd World mentality :(

Comments: My best years in KL were spent enjoying all that its theatre and dance community had to offer. It would be really a blow to KL's vibrant arts culture if these "guidelines" are implemented. They shouldn't even be proposed in the first place.

Comments: I honestly thought that my friend might be kidding. Does this type of censorship really exsist today Just because you dont support something doesnt mean that you should edit it. Let those speak that want to in the way they want to and let those listen that have the ears to hear I say...

Comments: Dewan Bandaraya is much appreciated as a public service agency with the crucial task of maintaining the urban infrastructure (keeping streets, sewers, and parks clean and tidy, and so on). When it attempts to usurp the role of Moral Guardian & Publc Censor, it deserves to be booed loudly and mercilessly till it leaves the stage. What the performing arts in Malaysia sorely need is more financial support - NOT more censorship!!!

Comments: I feel strongly that DBKL has no rights to endorse what is right and what's not. It is time we really voice out the censorship of performing arts in Malaysia. We are not dupes, we are think for ourselves, thank you. The more they try to "protect" us, the more sensitive issues will be. The performing arts in Malaysia need to be freed!
