NBC will lose so many viewers because the older Days gets the better it gets. I do not understand why they would want to cancel such a wonderful and popular show! Name: Stephanie Struss on Jan 25, 2007Comments: I started watching DOOL before I hit teen years, I am 27 now. I love this show and the extreme, and not so extreme, storylines. With the new headwriter keeping us on our toes and on the edge of our seats with the "what's next" in our heads, it would be a comlpete shame to cancel it now. We've grown up with these characters (and actors, as most are still on there since when I first started watching) and I feel like we are all family. Who cares that it's not the top number 1 soap in black and white on paper, what matters is it's loyal viewers. And that list is never ending.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 25, 2007Comments: Please don't cancel DOOL! It has a special place in my heart. My daughter and I would watch it in her hospital room while taking chemotherapy for cancer. I know this sounds absurd with everything that was going on with her at that time but for an hour everyday we could forget about her problems and focus on all the "goings on" on Days. We would talk about the characters, plot lines, etc. Days gave us something fun to talk about instead of her illness. It pulled us through a lot of bad days. Days has such a special place in my heart. Please reconsider and keep Days of our Lives on.Flag

I am very glad I stuck it out during the last couple of years, because the new writing is fantastic and the show has improved 100%. Please keep Days on the air after its contract expired in 2009.Flag
