60 AnonymousWe need this road fixed. I almost got into an accident when a big whole formed late last spring. Either I hit the hole or hit another car. I hit the hole and almost went of the road because of it. I'm surprised the road has not been fixed because of all the businesses on that road. At this point its more of a safety issue than anything else.

65 Paul IvanThe road is in bad shape especially along the edges. It is a safety hazzard since many people drive down the middle to avoid the many dips, bumps, potholes, and crumbling pavement.
66 Tia KnaussI travel this road at least twice a day and it really needs to be fixed in a hurry. The numerous "patch jobs" makes the road almost impossible to drive on. It feels like a damn roller coaster ride in my truck.

69 Kelly BiertempfelPlease use our tax dollars to fix what is the most hazardous road in Plum borough. I personally know of 3 families that have been involved in accidents on Davidson. Our children ride the school bus on this road twice a day and it is another accident waiting to happen. Fix it before there is a fatality.

71 Mike MedureI drive this road daily on my commute to work. This road is at the point that it is becoming dangerous. I have to swerve everywhere to avoid pot holes which could potentially damage my vehicle. This road is frequently used by large trucks going in and out of the business park off Davidson, I fear that someone is going to swerve into one of these large trucks and be severely injured. This road is patched multiple times a year. You can not put a bandaid on an open wound this is not correcting the problem. Put our tax dollars where they belong and correct the problem before someone is injured and it costs you more than the road!!!

79 Ed BechtoldAs a man who worked in the public safety field for 32 years, I know a bad road when I see one. This road is not only bad, it is very dangerous. The road is too narrow to begin with, lots of holes and too many BIG TRUCKS travel that road. I travel this road sometimes 4 times a day so my wife can take care of my sick daughter and her 2 young babies. My daughter often says I'm going to get killed on that road. Council ought to hang their heads in shame for having such a road in their beautiful borough. Widen the road, pave the road and keep the big trucks off P-L-E-A-S-E
80 Gary AgateThis is a well traveled road on a daily basis. There are 18 wheelers that use it as a shortcut from Center road to Saltsburg, I have witnessed near accidents as people are swerving to miss huge potholes. This needs addressed immediately.

85 Jeffrey M. RussoIn the second year year of my 4 year term while I was on council we agreed to set aside the necessary funds to put in the proper drainage system and a new road on Davidson Road. Instead of doing it n 3 sections we chose to hold off to do at one time for 2 reasons. The first was that the commercial property where they planned to put the Walmart was to use their Davidson Road access for construction access and that they would negotiate to pay to have the road repaired once they were complete. To follow-up on this I went to a council meeting last year and the year before when we were suppose to have had enough funds allocated to do Davidison Road. I had asked if there were any updates on the communication with the developer and I was told both times they would review it and look at it. I now have found out that they had no intention to use the budgeted funds to repair it, and instead they spent the money elsewhere and are still hoping the Walmart will fix it after their project is complete and who knows when that will be completed. The second reason was the obvious, to do it at one time. I was also informed that the funds that were allocated to help build a new Public Works building were moved into the General Fund and spent as well. Whoever started this petition I thank you for taking your time and trying to help all of us. One other note, I voted against the motion to let Cement company place their business directly behind our development and uses Davidson Road with trucks that are not favorable to the condition of Davidson Road or our development.

98 Michael GuidaThis road needs fixed ASAP!!! When ever I drive on this road and this road only i drive right in the middle. The reason I do this is so I dont throw my car out of allignment because of all the pot holes. The patches that were put on in the summer did absolutly nothing except waste money. (Well thats what happens most of the time with $) Good luck and hopefully it will get done. MICHAEL GUIDA

100 AnonymousI am a teacher at Center Elementary School, and I currently have in my class (and have had in the past as well) many students whose families drive this road daily. If fixing this problem will ensure their safety, then it needs to be done immediately!
