David De Gea – Made In Manchester

For those Manchester United Fans who are feeling annoyed,
confused and frustrated by what seems like an act of disloyalty by our
Goalkeeper David De Gea in his attitude to his club status at Manchester United
please read on to see how you as a fan can voice your opinion and make him see
who is responsible for helping him become one of the world's best keepers, this
could make him stay.

The will he won't he stay saga continues and De Gea is
saying nothing to either confirm or deny the fact that he may be leaving Old
Trafford at the end of this season, his form this season has been out of this
world but remember it was only a few years ago when he he was considered a
complete flop....

In 2011 if you would have said the name David De Gea, you
may have heard a few mention that he was a kid with true potential and his
future looked bright but not many people had a clue who he was. When he did
sign at the end of June 2011 and Alex Fegurguson claimed he was a replacement
for the departing Van Der Sar, sticking an inexperienced 21 year old in Goal for
one of the best teams in the world was considered absolute lunacy by many and
in his first season for United he proved his doubters right by playing some appalling
football and letting in some howlers being compared to the United Goalkeepers
that we would like to forget like Taibi and Carol, just a few names to add to
the basket.

Alex Ferguson being the footballing genius he was saw
something in the young De Gea that not many other people did, even some of the
united fans wanted him out! Alex Ferguson asked the fans to give him time to
settle and get into the united mindset.

Now this is the part where the loyalty to the club and fans
needs to be remembered!

Alex Ferguson stuck by the unpopular Goalkeeper and got his
staff to work day and night on improving De Gea as a whole, as the months past
De Gea's confidence improved, the new skills he had picked up from the team at
united began to show in his matches and the world watched as slowly but surely
the young keeper finally showed his doubters that Alex Ferguson and his team
had produced one of the future best keepers in the world.

So as the years have passed on David De Gea as established
himself as one of United's top goalkeepers of all time, he is only 24 and is
just getting into his prime, thanks to the United staff, his performances of
late are getting him noticed by a certain Real Madrid who have come knocking
once or twice over the last two seasons, now this is where De Gea owes us the
united fans answers!

When De Gea was labelled a flop by many people, who stood by
him – Manchester United and the fans, we stuck by him, cheered him on, help him
settle in.

Now these are not the words of a disgruntled fan but what
many are thinking, if Alex Ferguson had took you from a young rookie who no one
had heard of, continued to play you in goal when your performances where that
bad many questioned what Fergie was thinking, transformed you into the world
class goalkeeper you are today – where would your loyalty be? None brainer –
Manchester United.

Instead it seems that De Gea is being linked to a big money
move to Real Madrid and although it may be a dream move for him, none of this
would of been possible if it wasn't for his current club and the fans who have
stuck by him, if he has any loyalty, respect and decency about him, he will
give United another two or three years playing time, instead of ignoring the
fans, players and Manchester United as a whole in what would be considered one
of the biggest acts of disloyalty in the clubs history. Built by Reds, believed

Sign our petition now, the more people who sign and leave a
message the bigger chance of David De Gea actually seeing this, if you all just
sit back and moan about it, nothing will get done and there is a big chance he
will leave but if you voice your opinion on why he should stay and how you
think he owes the club a debt, he might just listen, give the red side of Manchester
a massive voice – so he can hear our war chant "Stay De Gea Stay" – even Ronaldo stayed an
extra season after winning the European cup when he was heavily linked to Real
