Paul Cassenelli.Alexandria,mn. When I was about 12 I was turned on to Cerebus at a nyc comic con that only had comics & creators at the old Raddison across from msg. I saw the fake #1and the real #1, which was cheaper than the original. That got me speaking to the dealer, got me into Daves work, which I had almost every issue of the 1st 125 or so books, which was lost to a house fire. Not sure what this petition hopes to create, it's 2am & I came across this by accident. But I been a supporter of cerebus & ctv for years.I'd think if he was this bad guy people say, it would be more than internet trolls & con gossip from others that don't like him putting his work & opinions so far out of the box. They end up just bad mouthing some one they think is causing the boat to rock.Bring back da Wolveroach & have him deal with these ingreats.

Dave Sim is a consummate creator and businessman. Give the guy a break for the majesty of his creation. No sour grapes. The guy created a great story with gusto, vision and acumen. Let us respect that and the man himself. The books are great. So is Dave.

Dave's most definitely not a misogynist and to call him such is obvious knee-jerk reaction without thought or consideration. I've never gotten the impression he hates females, nor has his work ever pointed in that direction. He built an amazing narrative around his observations and careful thought and for that his work should be read by future generations. As the man said, "deep in your heart, you know he's right..."
