Cell phone companies are forcing people to add a Data Plan against their will. In the past, you had the ability to choose if you wanted to pay per internet use or subscribe to one of the cost saving plans available. As Technology advances and more smart phones are developed, you now have less options that ARE NOT smart phones. Eventually EVERYONE will need to get a smart phone and face a fee of approximately $40.00 per phone unless you let your the courts know that you will not stand for this "legal" extortion Most Smartphones already come with the option to Disable this data plan and use free WiFi, but the phone companies are re-enabling the Data plan against your wishes.
