Further disgrace by Blacktown City Council Oct 25. 2012 | Comments (3)
Hello all,
It is with great sadness that members of Darug community have been made aware by a councillor of the Blacktown City Council that at a meeting conducted by Council last night, not only was no acknowledgement given to the Darug people, but no acknowledgment was given to Aborigonal Australians as tradition land owners at all!
When the Mayor was asked if this was intended, his response was - yes, it is new policy.
This is highly racist and antagonistic behaviour, the Mayor should be utterly ashamed of his ignorant stance.
Darug members having been working hard to be heard on this issue and we will not stop.

Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that they just don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
