No one really knows why the trail, "Hospital Ridge" in Whitehorse has been named so. Its meaning lost in time and faded into insignificance, one brave photographer has taken the charge to rename this iconic singletrack to something more meaningful.
There can be no confusion as to the rightful owner of said trail. Award-winning, much lauded megastar Dan Barham has, in his infinite wisdom, allowed this stretch of track to bear his official seal of approval, by graciously agreeing to its naming after him.
Hospital Ridge is dead. Long live Dan's Ridge.
