| 114 | Joel Silverman needs to be replaced and Gov Mitch Daniels held accountable for all the issues at the BMV the past year. With my 2 children both getting drivers licenses within 18 months of each other, I have been to the BMV numerous times over the past 18 months. I have had to get driving permits, licenses, plates, registrations, etc.. and the lines have been extremly long. Silverman took the liberty of closing our town branch in Cambridge City, In and now we must go to Connersville or Richmond. My waits have ranged from 1hr 15 min to 2 hours. That doesn't include the 15 minute drive one way to get there. I have used more time & gas going back and forth. Maybe it saves the state money, but it sure doesn't save me. My taxes are the same and I'm wasting time & gas. I do vote, but I am not republican nor democrat. I vote for who I feel is the best candidate at the time of election. I can assure you, it won't be Mitch Daniels in the next election. |
| 115 | Went into the Michigan City BMV office about two weeks ago to renew my registration. Took more than 4 hours to complete this 10 minute job. The entire place was at "standing room only" from about 9:10 am, on. This is ridiculous. |

| 117 | The BMV office at Mt. Vernon has limited hours then you must spend hours in line for service. Finally I left. Days later I went the office in Evansville on Sonntag Street for service. My 91 year-old mother-in-law had similar problems. This problem is for real. |

| 147 | People should have little tolerance for apparent incompetence concerning the problems at the BMV. Many of the conveniences like self-serve kiosks and online registrations should not have the technological obstacles currently in place. Had the governor and Mr. Silverman been transparent from the start, more tolerance would be warranted but neither the governor's office, nor the BMV was willing to accept responsibility from the get go. |
