Thank you for closing down my Chesterton License branch. My area in Indiana's growth has been extreme, and the state of Indiana responds by shuttind down their services. Nice Job Governor Daniels!

| 1004 | 1. Even the impression of firing a whistleblower is bad. You need to act.
2. My attempt to get a license replaced, using my BIRTH CERTIFICATE, was rejected. They only accept the county's new version. Please change this stupid policy. An ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE should suffice. |

The last time I had to go the the License Branch I had to stand in line for 1-1/2 hours. This is not has exaggerated time.
Yes, Silverman should be fired. He is not taking any blame himself. He states that it is the customer because the came into the branches when they were asked not too. Then why were the open if he didn't want them coming in. They should have closed them down longer and worked out the glitches. Then he blamed the employees for not knowing there jobs. When computer screen would sit 10 to 15 minutes in between screens there in not a whole lot the employees can do if the know there job or not when the screen just sits. Of course Mitch Daniels is going to support him because for Silverman to look bad it makes him look bad since he was the one to hire him. Sounds like to me we are just dealing with a bunch of idiots. As far as the firing of the Wood lady it sound like the system was down more than it was up an operating so how could they tell if she was doing her job right or wrong. I hope she throws a lawsuit on the state. Silverman needs to step and take the blame and let people know he doesn't know what he is doing. Maybe that was why he last business went under.
It is truely a shame that Silverman can close a BMV branch in Newburgh with as little information as he actually had. We now have thousands of taxpayers traveling miles just to receive a tax supported benefit. He is truely a puppet on a string.

Coming from the County Treasurer's point of view...GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER...we have had to put up with your beauracracy being dumped back on the counties long enough.

DITCH MITCH and SILVERMAN
Mitch, Why stop at firing Mr. Silverman, why don't you resign too so we can get Indiana moving back in the "right direction" again! Not in the WRONG direction you seem to be "dictating" to us Hoosiers

I think it's RIDICULOUS you fired smoeone who highlighted issues with the agency ... that is what makes an organization great - when someone can open up and explain issues so they can be resolved and everyone is lifted to a higher level!

I quit the bmv after all of the changes. This used to be a great place to work. Now they have gotten exactly what they wanted. To run the state like a retail business. Good luck with that. You ALWAYS reep what you sew.
the last time i went to BMV the girl helping me was more concerned with what her coworkers were eating in the backroom then taking care of my busness

it is not only the public that has suffered from this BMV debacle. Everytime I go to my local branch the employees there look so exhausted. Morale is low. It is hard for me to find it in my heart to believe that Mitch Daniels could be affiliated with such an arrogant, misogynistic, coward as Silverman.
| 1029 | Firing someone for reporting a problem is against the law, isn't it? Isn't there federal protection for whistle blowers? Would reporting a problem be considered whistle blowing? It certainly doesn't sound like grounds for firing, even if no grounds are required in Indiana.
Gov. Daniels - you've made too many changes too fast. I've heard from people from several areas of state government that tell me your reorganization was not done smoothly. All your ideas were not bad; but your way of making changes needs work! |
Mr. Silverman chose to eliminate the experienced IT staff that would have prevented the gyrations of the recent system switch at our license branches. He should be eliminated from as the head of the BMV along with the IT cronies that he brought with him.

Tell Gov. Daniels It's Time For Accountability At CBS. If you can do anything please remove the KOQ off the air for good

Due to the long lines, my husband had to leave & return to the BMV in Porter County 3 times (on different days) before he could complete his business .

Enough is enough. Make it work!
my concern goes beyond my wasted time and frustration what about the poor employees of the dmv working in understaffed conditions with an irritable public they are the ones taking the brunt of Gov Daniels lack of caring for the people of IN
