Comments: I Strongly agree that selling dangerous weapons in stores should be banned completly , especially where the availabilty for them is where children see them, and where they can influence any person to buy one.

Comments: I personally think it's really sad and somewhat frightening when the first thing I see as I walk in and look to the right in a local convenience store is a set of six inch blades.

Comments: For a young person to acquire one of these items from a convenience store is pretty easy. There DEFINATELY needs to be a governing body that makes sure these things are NOT SOLD TO CHILDREN.

Comments: Clearly, in the interest of the old and the young of our community, the sale of knives needs to be banned. I sincerely hope that sufficient action is taken to facilitate such a ban! Thank you kindly for listening! Ted Glover

Comments: I have a few knives that I keep as decoration. That said, I am only one person who uses discretion concerning this matter. Many of these punks buy these knives and end up using them to rob, (potentially) rape, and assaulting poor schmucks who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Comments: I was threatened with a sword by my abusive ex boyfriend Mitchell Buck. Weapons such as swords and knives are easily obtained and should be banned! Think of the people that could get hurt when at the wrong place and the wrong time. Staying silent on the matter won't help anyone.

Comments: We need to have restrictions on the sale of these dangerous weapons in the City of Oshawa. It is my wish that the Oshawa City Council recognizes the need for restrictions to be imposed immediately on these items.
