ARR Impact Study

6th May 2013 ARR Impact Study Followers of this question will be aware that there have been developments in the campaign which we would like to bring to your notice. In 2012 as a result of this campaign a group of concerned Art Dealers visited the offices of the then Minister, Baroness Wilcox, to express their opinions on the question of the threshold which had been set at the lower level of €1000. The Minister listed attentively to the presentations made and requested that an impact study be made to assess the damaging effects caused by this situation. In accordance with the request we did prepare a study and this was presented to the new Minister, Viscount Younger.  In response to our study we have heard from the Government department concerned, the IPO, that they wish us to publish the results of this study in order that public comment can be made.
