My heart is breaking and I need YOUR help. As most of my close friends know, I am not one to get involved in other people’s situations. I do not partake in the gossip mill and tend to keep to myself. I do not like “drama” therefore remaining neutral. BUT this situation has struck a chord with me and I feel the need to voice up and ask everyone I know for help! I do not know how to go about doing this so I started a petition (may not be the answer BUT petitions are a growing trend and they definitely get your story to be heard). Please take the time to read the petition and sign it if you agree. Fighting for a father to see his son… Don’t fathers have rights?!

What are the father's rights to seeing his child? After doing lots of research I have found that father's DO have rights BUT they need to get an attorney to represent them in attaining their rights. What if you do not have the money for retainer? Does the father have to suffer if the mother is holding the child "hostage" from seeing him? There has to be a better way.

I do not have the answers or the means of how to go about doing it BUT I know someone out there can help (everybody knows somebody who knows somebody) which is why I am starting this petition. This story needs to be heard.

The names have been changed to protect their identity. [Fred], a loving father is dying to see his 2 year old little boy. [Wilma], the baby’s' mother is preventing this from happening. What is Fred to do? How can he see his son? Fred does not have the financial backing to retain an attorney to fight for his rights. His hands are tied. He feels powerless! How can we help?

We can start by signing this petition. Maybe the mother will come around seeing that Fred has supporters?

As I mentioned previously, I do not have the answers or know what steps to take BUT I do know I want to help this daddy see his little boy. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
