107	Stig	I first developed a love for Daiquiri Ice in the Pasadena summers of the 70s. Now it's been changed to a new flavor and new color with none of the subtlety of the original. Please, Baskin Robbins -- do a New Coke on this and bring back the classic!

I went on their website and filled out a survey and in the comments section, made sure they knew we want the old one back and made sure they had the link to this site as well. Hopefully they'll return it and stop this lime madness. :-)

I hesitate to call it "ice cream" but I always felt so adult as a kid ordering it. 120	Steve	URGH! Like everyone else I was shocked to hear Daquiri Ice was altered. Today, I finally tried the replacement. The lime aftertaste is still stuck in my mouth after 15 minutes. Yuck! There was nothing like the original Daquiri Ice and the main reason I was thrilled that they built a Baskin Robbins by my house. This after living in Cincinnati for over 10 years without it. Now I've tried it, I can say it's no good. If some folks find it popular, go ahead and leave it, but for the many of us who enjoyed and miss the original, please bring it back. I won't be back until it is. No other reason for me to go. There are other ice cream shops in town and my kids won't know the difference.

Imagine our surprise when (on her 16th birthday, no less) we were in San Antonio and learned that this gem had been turned into lead-tainted costume jewelry. Ish, as we say here in Minnesota! Not 30 seconds after walking into the BR, i turned around and walked out. I was so disappointed. I will not return to BR until they get rid of that Lime "Daquiri Ice" and bring back the original. I can vividly remember the day I went to the BR and they told be the bad news.. At first I didn’t know how to take it, I thought they were playing some cruel joke on me. On a recent Mexican Carnival cruise, 3 cities had baskin-robbins stores: Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas...all three stores carried our beloved blue Daiquiri ice!!! I had three scoops everyday (since they wouldn't let me buy the whole tub to ship home). So how come it is not in the US? Bring back the original blue daiquiri ice!!!
