We the undersigned residents of Johannesburg, love our City and would love to see the day that Johannesburg becomes a top world class City and that the billing crisis; ageing infrastructure and the high levels of crime and grime will be a matter of the past. Hereby calls on the Mayor to give Regions more autonomy in the City. The Regions should function like sub-Cities, whereby the Regional director has authority over the municipal owned entities; administration and enforcement in their jurisdiction. Further calls on the Mayor to give the Region more control over their budgets to ensure redress and delivery.
