We, the undersigned below, support keeping the Cyclorama in its current location in Grant Park. We want to recognize its 120+ years history with the community, the local context of scenes painted and the economic impact heritage tourism brings to SE Atlanta neighborhoods and businesses. We ask the Task Force show fiscal responsibility in determinging this matter. We want to ensure the best solutions for conserving the historic painting are pursued. We advocate using funds to retain, upgrade and modify the exhibit content and historic building at the current location rather than move it from the historical events events portrayed.

Laura Ellis, United States2 years ago Comments: Atlanta has too little historic destinations left. It is in the city's best interest to preserve what little exists. Please keep the Cyclorama in its current location. It is imperitave to the revitilzation of the historic intown neighborhoods. Visitors love Atlanta's beautiful neighborhoods. They need a destination In these residential areas to ever see them.
Sara Brown, United States2 years ago Comments: What a boondoggle to say we should move it! It's in a lovely spot now and adds interest to the park and zoo. Plus it is close to the neighborhoods that used to be the battlefield. Don't waste our tax dollars moving it please.
