This petition is for us drivers/motorcyclists to request authorities to look into:- 1. Cyclists who do not ride in a single file 2. Cyclists who ride against the traffic endangering themselves and other motorists have to bear the brunt of it 3. Cyclists who DO NOT have lights. Please note that those cheap charlie $1.99 LED lights are not visible from a distance! 4. Cyclists (By LAW) must have headlights and rear lights 5. Cyclists to wear protective headgears 6. Cyclists to look out for parked cars opening doors while riding within speed limits . If road is 50kmh limit, it does not MEAN u r indemnified against any accidents if u r going within 50kmh. You should be going way lower than that! 7. Cyclists NOT to ride on pavements 8. Cyclists do not have absolute rights when involved in any accidents. They are to bear part of the blame if they do not have lights, do not have protective clothings, did not keep within speed limits and do not keep a lookout for obstacles. 9. Cyclists to have demerit points systems and those who scam accident claims, names to be put into a special registry.
