On 5 March 2012, tragically, yet another cyclist died on Edinburgh's roads. There have been 16 cyclists' deaths and many others injured since 2000 in Lothian region, almost all involving another vehicle. Current policy and the way we are planning our city are clearly not working.  We call for a major rethink to ensure cyclists can travel safely and that cycling in Scotland's capital can flourish.
