The multiple-seller marketplace for organic grains produced in Canada is problematic and ultimately unsuitable for a successful organic sector. Organic producers believe a co-operative and collective approach to marketing will benefit all organic farmers, exporters, and processors. We know the benefits conventional farmers enjoy through participating in the CWB marketing system and believe the same benefits should be made available to the organic sector. 

We, the undersigned, urge the Canadian Wheat Board's directors to determine the optimal process to bring organic grains under single-desk selling, signified by publication of an organic PRO price and implementation of a "buyback" price reflecting true organic export market prices.
