Comments: Please save this beautiful, restful nature center - it is so educational, my 5 year old grandson has become a "green" nature enthusiast from visiting and learning about our coast, wetlands and animals.

Comments: Closing the nature center would be a crime to the community and to the children of San Diego. In an increasingly suburbanized San Diego, there are not very many opportunities for nature education. Please do not deny future generations of children positive experiences learning about nature, such as the ones I had at the Nature Center when I was young.

Comments: Closing the Nature Center would be a complete waste of resources and a great insult for the many volunteers who have donated thousands of hours over the years.

Comments: This is a great facility that needs to be expanded and grown for the benefit of the city and region - not shut down. Be progressive - not reactive!

Comments: Please keep the Nature Center Open. I have been there on many occasions and it is a great place for kids. There are very few places in Chula Vista that encompass both a learning experience and a place for families to spend time together. Please re-consider closing the nature center, it has been a part of Chula Vista for such a long time, it would be a shame to see it closed. Thank you for your consideration. Judith Hernandez

Comments: This is the only hands-on educational nature center for my son that he frequents. It has greatly enhanced his knowledge base and love for nature. We will not be able to get this exposure otherwise because of our busy schedules and financial constraints. The Southbay greatly lacks educational and fun options outside of school; Closing the Chula Vista Nature Center would be a great disservice to all our citizens, especially our children. Please keep the Chula Vista Nature Center.

Comments: This is one of the jewels of Chula Vista that has helped build the community through the education and preservation of native wildlife. This facility needs to remain open for the educational and environmental growth of future generations of Chula Vistans & San Diegans.

Comments: Personally and professionally I value the CVNC as an incredibly important resource to connect our community to our coast and critical wetland habitat, educate young people about science and the environment, and serve as a destination for visitors to learn about the rich diversity of Chula Vista and the San Diego area.
