| 1001 | Diana Fergus | I raised my family in Chula Vista and enjoyed visiting the CV Nature Center at least once yearly.
I am sorry to see this becoming a budget item to be scrapped.
My hat is off to the group trying to save the Nature Center. |

| 1014 | DiAnne Broussard | On Sunday, June 7, I visited the nature center with a friend. We went on a behind-the-scenes tour and on a bird spotting walk around the preserve. What a treasure this place is! One of the most heartening sites was all the families with young children that were visiting. It is one of the last remaining undeveloped coastal wetlands in California. The experience it provides for visitors is unforgettable. Please keep the center and the preserve open. |

| 1021 | Beatrice Mori | I hope this jewel of a nature center will remain open. The animals, birds and fish are of course wonderful, but the staff is a real delight too. They are so dedicated and genuinely friendly and eager to share their knowledge of their creatures, the local environment, and even history of the Chula Vista area. I have come to feel a personal connection to the nature center because of their real attachment to the place and the creatures they care for. |

| 1024 | Kay McFarland | I was a visitor (from Michigan) to Chula Vista the week of June 8, 2009. I have family who have recently moved to Chula Vista. They had never visited the Nature Center. The Nature Center is a treasure. The facility is excellently maintained. The care & concern for the inhabitants, animal and plant is evident. The staff & volunteers were very helpful. Keep up the good work. |

| 1027 | Peter Sturgeon | The Chula Vista Nature Center is a World class resource not just for education but for the tourism money that it attracts to your area. I believe closing it would potentially make every one even its animal life losers. The people who visit your wonderful Nature Center leave taking away a beautiful dream like memory of your city and what it has accomplished. Perhaps they will not even remember Chula Vista for anything if it is closed. |

| 1032 | Anonymous | It would be a crime to have this wonderful and well equipped natural preserve closed. The good they do with housing and showing the public the rescued animals is tremendous and very necessary in this world. It allows an inspirational getaway from the humdrum. All the employees are very excited, nice and fabulous at what they do! Keep this open forever! |
| 1033 | giulia hendy | I am an overseas volunteer at the nature center and truly believe this is a wonderful educational place worth saving, along with the surrounding natural environments. california is lucky to have such beautiful places for people to visit and should make the most of them. |
| 1034 | Sue Dewey | Looking forward to visiting in person |
| 1035 | Stuart Marwood | We visited San Deigo in February 2009 and remember our English hosts, who are residents of Chula Vista, taking us to this beautiful nature center |
