Name: Donald Kanipe on Feb 5, 2008Comments: Withholding funds is not enough. Cut them off completely - including that festering sore of a college as well. An example should be made of Berkeley. Then woe be unto any other community that pulls this stunt.Flag

Name: Marie In Delaware on Feb 5, 2008Comments: What an accommodating City Council. Would they give a parking space to the Right to Life people in front of an abortion clinic, where MORE people are killed in one day than over in Iraq So much for equal treatment and equal protection under the law in Berkeley. /sarc offFlag

Name: Jeff Cronin on Feb 5, 2008Comments: U.S. Army veteran. The moral difference between a Soldier and a civilian is that the Soldier accepts personal responsibility for the safety of the body politic of which he is a member. The civilian does not -- Robert HeinleinFlag

Name: Bob Greenfield on Feb 5, 2008Comments: Soldiers view protestors as one might view a toddler. Toddlers throw temper tantrums. During their little fits of anger, they tell us how much they hate us. We pick them up, hug them, and then protect them with every ounce of our being. We protect them because we know that they are the ones who most need our protection. If we left them to fend for themselves, the evil in this world would finish them and America.Flag

Name: Reginald Archer on Feb 5, 2008Comments: I frequently travel to the Bay area on business, and I assure you that I will never again patronize any business in Berkeley, California. The U.S. Marines were some of the greatest heroes of WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq. What a slimy, low, cowardly thing to do. Also, the protestors encouraged to block the recruiting station by the Berkeley City Council are keeping young men and women from joining our armed forces! For shame!!Flag
