This petition is for custodian parent to receive child support from the courts within a certain time frame rather than an indefinite amount of time. Also, tax records for the non-custodian parent paying child support should be obtained directly from the IRS. Too many times, divorce and separation happens and the non-custodian parent juggles around the court system not providing their correct tax return/earning potential needed for the custodian parent to receive child support. I've fallen victim to this and want to do something about it.   Many times the parent paying support thinks it benefits the other parent when in fact they are forgetting that the children are the victims and that is who it is benefiting.
