Currys have taken the money from over 900 people for iPad Minis and stated that they would guarantee delivery last week. It is now the following week and none of us have received the item we were 'guaranteed'
Further to that they have breached the data protection act and passed out all 900+ emails to each pre-order customer. As a result of that we have been in contact with one another to demand compensation.
Many of us have bought these as Christmas presents for others and don't have the funds to buy other presents in the interim.
We understand that Apple have not fulfilled their promise to Currys, however Currys should NEVER have guaranteed us delivery for the same week we ordered. I suspect most of us would never have given them our money had they not given false guarentee on delivery dates.
