If you came to the US on a valid student visa before December 2011,and worked hard to stay legal, you shouldn't be punished by this immigration bill. In its current form, the bill allows those who did the wrong thing- became illegal before Dec 2011- to be rewarded- apply for the provisional status- and leaves those who have been here for a long time and worked hard to stay legal to continue to struggle. I don't think that was the intention of the bill and this should be fixed. Every student here before the said date should be allowed to apply! Let's make our voices heard!
