The knowledge and awareness of current events of students should be increased. I believe that students should be informed and know about the happenings of our country and of major global events and activities occurring around the globe. By informing students about these events I hope to make students become more aware and conscious of the happenings of the world and to let students become more informed about the issues present in our society. This petition proposes to have current affairs updates of the nation and of global relevance after or during roll call or roll marking is given. A short update will suffice and students will hopefully develop greater and stronger understanding of the world from this.
