To the residents of Perth, I write in relation to the culling of the White Corella birds in Maylands and elsewhere. Surely the devastationg floods and bushfires accross Australia have caused enough death, destruction and suffering. I ask people to show compassion for these little white birds who are being put to death in a gruesome and barbaric way. killing and wounding innocent wildlife through the barrel of a gun and inflicting this sort of pain sets no example for our children. yours sincerely, Pamela Wilkinson
