We, the undersigned, petition the US Government, the President of the United States, and all members of the US Congress to: 1. Comply with UN General Assembly Resolution 61-11 and bring an immediate end to economic sanctions against Cuba, including repealing the current travel restrictions on American citizens. 2. Normalize diplomatic relations with Cuba. 3. Immediately cease all funding recommended by the Commission for Assistance to a Free Cuba which recommends a budget of $36 Million annually to fund programs that ineffectively are aimed at toppling Castro's government.

Seeing this kind of momentum brings tears to my eyes because it reminds me that I am not the only one grieving the distance between our families. My cousins in Havana have waited far too long for a bridge to be built across this divide. We are finally moving.

Its been way to long. Time to move on and let people travel where they want. The world has changed a lot since the 60s.

TOTAL WASTE OF TAXPAYER MONEY. spend that 36 million on things we actually need here at home in the states. ridiculous.
