    Comments: We have so much to offer- what we have right now is a (reletively)thriving industry and a dying culture. It is an unfortunate reality that the government needs to subsidize the homegrown entertainment industry, but the fact of the matter is we (as in the tax payers)need to pay to see ourselves represented as Canadians on TV. I like to be entertained, I like to be employed and I have elected to continue to live in the country because I am a patriot and a talent. I love, hope and expect to be both entertained and employed by my peers. It is wonderful that so much American business comes up here, but it is no substitute for our own stuff and frankly the US well may be drying up for political and economic reasons. We must have the ability to stand on our own two feet. Canadians are funny, smart, talented and employable- and willing to go where the work is if that is what needs to be done. We must not back down on this fight- it is important to have our stories told on our airways. Please take this appeal to heart.

    Comments: Canadian television has been part of my life for a long time. Some of my best memories include watching Mr. Dressup with my grandparents. As an adult, I often watch "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" and "Royal Canadian Air Farce". Please, keep funding Canadian television programs, especially comedies and programs for children.
