Reasons for CS1102 Sit in Lab to be Take home instead (1) There is already 6 take home labs which is a heavy workload. (2) Furthurmore with 4 more sit in labs, that are stressful due to countless factors that differ among individuals, it demoralizes or over exert people. (3) Last semester, there was no sit in labs! (4) To learn there is no need for sit in labs, take home do the same, it is up to an individual integrity to do it himself and learn. (5) Sit in labs are as noisy as arcades. There is little thinking, due to time constraint and stress everyone just type... So it has a much lower learning curve than take home (6) We are using a unix editor which is extremely inconvenient. It furthur annoy us in a lab that is being assessed.
